cozyclub is a format i initiated focusing on electronic (live) music and listening sessions that deliberately positions itself in opposition to the increasingly fast-paced and consumption-oriented club culture. The concept of coziness is central to the spatial design: I aim to create spaces that support and allow one to float. Comfortable places in which people are free to move, where it becomes snug, and where the connection between audience and music takes priority. The goal is to place the listening experience first.
For the first event I collaborated with shindig. shindig is an event series focusing on experimental post-internet music. Together we curated the Sunday evening of the 40th Klangraum Festival at Kunstraum 34 in Stuttgart and invited three artists. I did the spatial design.
Sch4tzi is a multidisciplinary artist and musician crafting sonic landscapes of fragmented sound. Their work moves through raw intimacy and dreamlike obscurity. Blurred voices and atmospheric textures intertwine, revealing what is quietly felt. Drawing from ever-evolving array of sonic encounters, exchanges and shared explorations, Luxxuryproblems assembles sampled fragments into passages of deliberate instability. His work is shaped by artefacts of internet culture and the more exploratory edges of (club-) music, where constant flux and the notion of the „almost“ define both process and aesthetic. Field Memo is the musical project of Remco Ardui and Gustave Muho, two audiovisual artists from Belgium who recently released a single on the Toverberg label of Brussels. For their performance, they plan to present a couple of unreleased tracks, with the live performance given form by a possible particular installation. Expect recordings, piano, words, and drones.
“Descend through the well of your own night, the depth of blind feelings.
Let yourself fall to the seabed, slip into the green-darkness of stones,
circle in the eyes of the fish, in the cold blood of the gills.
Let yourself be rocked in the tangle of algae
of the equinoxes of day and night.”
— Rebecca Horn
In the sixth Listening Session, Marla Gwendolyn Fischinger opens a poetic, sensual world of balsamic sounds and songs for body and psyche. Emerging from the working process of the video piece Durst, in which water plays a central role as a symbol of healing, shelter, and communication, an atmosphere unfolds shaped by field recordings and ambient music, as well as pop, classical music, and “forever love” for the harp. It carries us, fluid like water, enveloping us and letting us float.
You’re invited to shed a tear.
This event was hosted by Lena Meinhardt at Künstlerhaus Stuttgart in november 2025.

BTS short film SKIN ON SKIN
I had the pleasure to assist Christin-Marlen Freyler and Marie Wagner in the costume design department for the short film SKIN ON SKIN:
In an industrial slaughterhouse in Germany, Jakob works as a security guard while Boris from Bosnia slaughters pigs.
Amidst the cold brutality of their surroundings, the two men form a quiet, unspoken bond, united by a shared longing for freedom. When Jakob helps Boris retrieve his confiscated passport, they find themselves caught in a dangerous spiral of power and helplessness, forcing them to confront fateful choices that will change their lives forever.
