Durst, filmstills & texts, 2024/25
The work complex Durst refers to water and its healing influence on the body and psyche in a sensual and poetic way. Central themes are communication, the feeling of being save (Geborgenheit) and the multifaceted concept of "Heimat" (home) – less as a geographical location, but as a space where communication can succeed. The title Durst (thirst) symbolizes a deep need for connection and resonance. Water serves as a metaphor for fluidity and connectedness, but also for the unspoken. A self-contained world emerges, which addresses the feeling of being lost and the search for protection, and shows the possibility of regeneration and healing.
